The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) scheduled two meetings in our area this week to take comments on the proposed addition of FOUR salamander species to the Endangered Species list. We need you to do to a FEW things to help us stand against this listing.
1. Read this Fact Sheet provided by the Williamson County Conservation Foundation. To learn more about the USFWS position click here to get the details about the settlement that they made with the Center for Biodiversity.
2. Please attend one of these meetings and bring a friend or neighbor with you. Please click on our calendar, on September 5th to see the meeting time and location.
3. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is taking public comments between now and October 22nd. Click here to enter your comment! These comments are very important and they are made public on the website after they are submitted. Please forward this post to friends or family in Williamson and Travis counties if they are willing to assist us with getting public comments.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!
