Several of us traveled to Arlington, Texas from July 26th-28th. Since many who attended weren’t able to participate in all of the main events because of expense or work, we wanted to provide video and information about a few of the most important events and speeches that were recorded. We hope this will help you get a good feel for the direction of the movement. The “Tea Party Movement” has not gone anywhere. We are individually getting involved with candidates and causes that will help us stand for Liberty. We are getting involved in our communities, championing various service opportunities, we are uniting across faiths to take action and stand for Truth, and we are committing to continue to teach our friends and families about our great history and to call out to our generation to renew the American promise.
FreedomWorks’ FreePAC Event, Thursday, July 28, 2012
Here are a couple of VERY important clips that will help you experience the event from your living room.
C.L. Bryant, former leader of the NAACP, brought down the house and brought tears to our eyes with his message. He shared a story about a conversation with his Grandfather who told him, “I didn’t go through all that I went through so that you could be Black. I went through all that I went through so that you could be FREE!” Take a moment to watch this historic speech that had everyone UP on their feet and “STAND UP!” with us!
Restoring Love Day of Service
Under God, Indivisible Leadership Conference, Friday, July 29, 2012
When our group was first established in 2009, we came together around our 9 Principles and 12 Values. Our 2nd Principle is I believe in God. He is the Center of my Life. Our group is made up of folks from most all religions and denominations represented across America. We believe it is important to stand for Liberty together. This event included great Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish leaders . The day was broken into an afternoon and evening session.
The afternoon focused on training leaders from all walks of life to serve our communities and churches through prayer, fasting, love, and political activism. Learn from the long list of speakers here.
The evening speakers exhorted us all to get involved in this upcoming fall election, not proclaim our alignment with the GOP or the Democrat Party, but because people of ALL faiths MUST live the faith that we profess! This evening brought together people of all denominations and faiths for a powerful worship service. Don’t miss a single speech here.
Restoring Love/Mercury One 1st Annual Women’s Conference, Saturday, July 30, 2012
Here is a good summary of the event. Betsy Morgan MCed the event, Tanya Beck and Joe Kerry from Mercury One welcomed the group, and a fantastic group of women shared about their faith and love for their country.
The Finale, Restoring Love at Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Saturday, July 30, 2012
Glenn’s call: “Our inheritance is America, and we have to decide…are we going to spend it all, or will we make the dream bigger? Tonight I charge each of you with a mission. No matter your age, no matter how you got here, or how far you traveled…a mission. To act, to commit, to shape the future, to do one pure thing – make America better than it is today. Build a bigger inheritance. Do what we’re supposed to do for our children. For our children. Every generation of America faces this challenge. Every generation. Some succeed and some fail. Those who have failed failed because they waiting for someone else to act.”
Our Invitation to YOU!
We hope you will join the Central Texas 9-12 Project or another Mercury One, Tea Party, or 9-12 group. These are the four things that you can do to help us restore our country! DO NOT leave it up to someone else to act. Now is the time to get involved!
