Folks Deliver Kindness to Local Charities

The Central Texas 9-12 Project delivered approximately $2000 of non-perishable food items to the Round Rock Serving Center and Helping Hands in Dripping Springs during the week of April 24th!  We toured the facilities and clearly saw that the groceries you donated filled empty shelves!  On this day we noticed that the pantries had good amounts of  tuna, corn, green beans, and rice.  The things that you bought, that you fed your own families, really supplemented what they had.  Things like mac & cheese, Vienna Sausage, black beans, cereal, and Ranch Style beans improved the variety of foods available.  We learned that folks are not able to purchase toilet paper using “food stamps” so the pantries were particularly grateful for that.  Thank you everyone for your kindness!
